The talented ensemble of actors that comprised the original Another Chance cast were destined for success. All were/are incredibly gifted and creative individuals on and off stage.  Each month we’ll be doing a feature story on former Another Chance cast members entitled, “Where They Are Now?”

We caught up with M. Neko Parham, aka DJ, lead actor. Since ANOTHER CHANCE he’s gone on to play in the world of TV & Film. Appearing in over twenty hit TV shows such as “THE WIRE”, “MR. MERCEDES”, “GREENLEAF”, “UNDERGROUND”, “BEING MARY JANE”, “SLEEPY HOLLOW”, “THE VAMPIRE DIARIES”, “ARMY WIVES”, “LAW & ORDER:SVU”, and a slew of others.

As of 2019, Neko is slated to “write & produce” his first created TV series through Warner Bros. Studios, alongside longtime friend and star of Broadway’s hit musical, “Hamilton,” Christopher Jackson. Congratulations Neko, you continue to make us proud!

“Another Chance was one of the most remarkable theatre experiences I’ve had to date.  To lead a show which spoke to cultural issues that centered God at the core was a dream role. The fact that it was so beautifully written, directed, and cast made it all worth the journey.”

Jeanette Bayardelle, won many hearts in her portrayal of 15 ½ year old “Jasmine Brown” in 1997 and 1998. Jeanette starred in the Broadway production of Color Purple in the role of Celie. She also just finished doing the new Bob Dylan Musical “Girl From The North Country” at The Public Theatre which is transferring to Broadway next season. She’s also working on a film “I Take Thee Zoe” which is scheduled to shoot this fall. In addition, she is in the process of writing two new musicals while working on her 5th solo album.

“Being part of Another Chance was life-changing for me. It was my first professional show. It helped mold me into the person I am today. The story challenged me to be better, do better and live better. I will forever be thankful for its wonderful gift of revelation, friendship and life lessons.”
